MarTech Interview with Pete Bradbury, Chief Commercial and Growth Officer @ VideoAmp https://martechseries.com/mts-insights/interviews/martech-interview-with-pete-bradbury-chief-commercial-and-growth-officer-videoamp/ Tue, 28 May 2024 08:55:51 +0000 https://martechseries.com/?p=360356
[vc_tweetmeme]

Pete Bradbury, Chief Commercial and Growth Officer @ VideoAmp shares a few insights for modern advertisers and marketers in this catch-up with MarTech Series:

Welcome to this MarTech Series chat, Pete, tell us about yourself and your role at VideoAmp?

Thank you for having me! I am Pete Bradbury, Chief Commercial and Growth Officer at VideoAmp, one of the industry’s leading media measurement companies revolutionizing the advertising industry via advanced currencies. Throughout my 30 year career in measurement, I’ve always prided myself on being a customer and client service guy, first and foremost.   Working with Fortune 500 brands across Big Tech, FMCG, CPG, media, sports, and entertainment, my North Star has always been and will always be servicing the needs of my clients.

I was consulting with one of the big firms and teaching Marketing at the University level when Peter Liguori and other VideoAmp team members approached me to join VideoAmp at the beginning of this year. Coincidentally, I had heard from many friends and industry associates that VideoAmp was on a new mission to redefine how media measurement is valued, bought, and sold, and how the company had a great product that could really move today’s measurement space into a new direction. After making the rounds within my circle of trusted confidants, I realized VideoAmp was a true watershed moment and that I could play an important role in something that would be truly groundbreaking for our industry.

It’s really reassuring when friends and former colleagues across the buy and sell side of the industry say, “You can help scale this. We’d love to see you back in the league.” That’s really all it took to stir up my excitement and get me back out on the field. I’m very fortunate that I have had the privilege of leading clients through multiple currency changes through the years.   There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that during this important time, our industry’s publishers, agencies and advertisers are 100% aligned on the need for more holistic and accurate data to plan, buy and evaluate their significant advertising investments and that the shift to more accurate and more actionable currencies is well underway.

Thinking about a marketplace for clients is always top of mind for me and VideoAmp has quickly emerged as the preferred source of measurement for many highly respected, forward-thinking industry leaders. As I work closely across all our teams, my number one priority is to help spearhead VideoAmp’s accelerated growth trajectory by leading all client, business development and commercial transformation initiatives to solidify the company as the new currency standard.

What about today’s media measurement processes and tactics need change in your view?

The old way of doing things in measurement and transacting on historically necessary but largely irrelevant audience definitions simply is not sustainable. It’s far more expensive than it once was, and not nearly as accurate as it could and should be. Babe Ruth once said, “Yesterday’s home runs won’t win today’s game.” Yesterday’s successes don’t guarantee tomorrow’s results.” The same can be said about the state of the industry – we must continue to move towards alternative currencies. We’ve reached a tipping point, where more efficient and effective measurements that enable greater outcomes will be the norm, not the exception and it’s proven to be 100% true over the past several months since I’ve been with VideoAmp.

Our clients are very smart and they understand that it’s their own money that could be lost, so they’re wanting to leverage solutions to help maximize their return on measurement and currency investments. We’re seeing a very large and accelerating shift from broader demographic based demos to much more refined data driven definitions. We’re also seeing adoption rates triple and in some cases quadruple as marketers realize the full potential of leveraging advanced currencies. The writing is on the wall and the marketplace is coming around to seeing the value of more refined currencies to drive their own performance.

Marketing Technology News: MarTech Interview with Lina Tonk, Chief Marketing Officer @ Recurly

How are streaming, OTT, CTV as platforms for advertisers and marketers changing the overall game?

The way we watch TV has changed, and advertisers have a huge opportunity with streaming services. Over-the-top (OTT) platforms – subscription services, free ad-supported ones, and even online cable replacements – offer a way to reach massive, interested audiences. This shift to streaming is booming, and advertisers are taking notice. Subscription services may be slowing a bit, but ad-supported plans and the explosion of free services give advertisers great options.

Plus, as live sports head to streaming, there’s even more reason to get involved. OTT lets you target your perfect viewer way better than traditional TV ever could. To really win with OTT, advertisers need to understand how things work. They can achieve this by learning about the different types of platforms, their audiences, what kinds of ads are available, and the growing importance of connected TV (CTV). OTT is the best of both worlds – huge TV audiences with all the targeting and data you get online. It’s time advertisers and marketers jump in and make the most of where streaming is headed.

What should modern advertisers and marketers do to gain more traction in an online marketing world that is already full of noise?

Everyone in the media and measurement industry is under enormous pressure. Brands need to prove their advertising is driving sales. Agencies are under fire to make their buys more efficient. Publishers are on an urgent hunt for new profits from advertising and content. It all comes down to who is equipped to help advertisers and marketers in this critical time. I’m a big believer our teams at VideoAmp are rewriting the playbook and operating at a higher level than anyone else in the space. That’s because we’ve embraced our tech first heritage, we’re analyzing everyone’s needs, and asking how our measurement solutions can drive better business outcomes.

That’s how we were able to develop our tech-led solution VALID (VideoAmp Linked Identity & Data) which increases the precision and accuracy of reaching advanced targeted audiences. Our identity graph has a 70% higher match rate than any other solution in the marketplace, and our clean rooms enable us to combine data without compromising privacy. That’s the reason why we’ve seen 1,400% year-over-year growth in adoption for our measurement and currency solutions. We’re doing business with 98% of publishers, 11 agency groups and more than 1,000 advertisers and our client list is growing every day.

The bottom line is we’re helping the industry navigate these complicated challenges by providing the best data and technology in the market that represents actual prospects. VideoAmp is here to champion innovation and collaboration, and we are humbled that so many clients across the ecosystem have joined us in the revolution.

What is today’s state of digital advertising that needs to change drastically in your view?

Coming into 2024, the state of digital marketing was marked by an evolving focus on customer retention, first-party data, and integrating AI into programmatic advertising platforms to maximize efficiency and targeting precision. There’s no doubt advertisers and marketers can continue to use these trends to help drive successful results, but they should also be nimble to adapt to challenges.

Invest in data collection methods that prioritize user privacy and build trust. This might involve offering clear value propositions in exchange for data, obtaining explicit consent, and employing zero-party data tactics where users willingly share information. Additionally, develop a data analysis infrastructure that can glean actionable insights from the collected data to inform personalization efforts and campaign optimization.

Can you talk about the future of AI, ML and adtech/martech: what will the market look like down the line?

The rise of AI-generated creative content. It’s a powerful tool for marketers to generate ideas, personalize content at scale, and free up their time for strategic thinking. But I do think we need to become more aware of AI’s potential and how it can homogenize marketing. It shouldn’t be seen as a direct replacement for human creativity, that would be a mistake in my mind. If we walk down that path, we’ll undoubtedly lose the uniqueness of diverse perspectives that come from our human imagination. The good news is, AI isn’t going to take your job – it will likely make you more valuable if you can learn to use it effectively.

Cloudinary Video Survey: Brands Struggle to Deliver Video-rich Experiences at Scale https://martechseries.com/video/video-platforms/cloudinary-video-survey-brands-struggle-to-deliver-video-rich-experiences-at-scale/ Wed, 24 Apr 2024 13:24:39 +0000 https://martechseries.com/?p=358630 Brands will struggle to scale their video usage and harness critical customer engagement opportunities if they can’t overcome post-production challenges according to the first Cloudinary Global Video Survey of web developers, marketers and other business leaders across 15 countries. The independent survey, commissioned by Cloudinary, found that while brands are increasingly reliant on video to build trust and confidence (78%) with their audiences, boost market awareness (65%), and drive purchases (54%) many struggle to deliver video at the scale today’s audiences demand. Surprisingly, brands face more challenges with creating video variants for different channels and devices (58%) than with creating original videos in the first place (46%). Learn more in today’s blog and survey infographic.

Not so surprisingly, ease matters. 49% of respondents who reported being able to publish videos in “less than an hour” also said they were “completely likely” to expand their use of video in the future. This fell to just 24% for brands whose videos took days to publish.

The survey also found that more than two-thirds (69%) host user-generated content (UGC) in order to raise audience engagement (79%), provide authentic user experiences (63%), and improve SEO (44%).

Streamlining post-production processes

The video post-production process is extensive and involves several stages. Adding to this complexity, the process involves two very different teams with distinct skills and mindsets: creative and development. As a result, “managing requests and feedback” was cited by creatives as the top challenge (46%) when working with development teams to get videos online. This was followed by “lack of knowledge of technical best practices” (33%) and “lack of visibility into developer timelines” (31%) indicating that more work still needs to be done to improve collaboration between these teams.

These challenges exist regardless of whether video is produced internally or supplied by creative partners. According to the survey, the top three challenges when receiving video assets from creative partners are “multiple file formats to support” (45%), “lack of web/mobile optimized files” (41%), and “late delivery of assets” (38%).

As brands mature online, so must their tools

Despite the fact that brands employ video specialists (34% have 1-5 on staff), challenges still abound. One possible explanation is brands’ heavy reliance on the generalist video management tools, such as YouTube (78%) and Vimeo (41%), that offer wide reach but little brand control. As brands refine and strengthen their video strategies, more specialized tools are needed to handle tasks like optimizing format and quality for different platforms, customizing video to align with brand guidelines, and providing greater content moderation and security controls.

Brands will continue to expand their use of video

According to the survey a full 81% of respondents are “completely likely” (35%) or “very likely” (46%) to expand their use of video across their websites and mobile apps in the future. Without intelligent automation, it can take several hours, even days, for developers to prepare a single video for use across a brand’s digital channels. That’s why it’s critical for brands to adopt technologies designed to alleviate these complex manual workflows, enabling teams to manage, customize, optimize, and deliver video to any channel or device at scale and within minutes.

According to Genevieve Haldeman, VP Corporate Marketing, Cloudinary, “We’ve seen firsthand through our work with leading brands of all sizes, there are equal opportunities to gain maximum ‘return on video.’ Thanks to tools that harness the power of AI, brands can automate many of the repetitive and tedious tasks like tagging, editing, cropping and optimizing for all channels and devices – tasks that once slowed them down. This automation also frees up creative and development teams to focus on critical tasks like design, branding, security, and high-level content moderation.”

New Text-to-Video Tool from Lightricks to Change the Game for Marketing Pros https://martechseries.com/video/video-platforms/new-text-to-video-tool-from-lightricks-to-change-the-game-for-marketing-pros/ Wed, 06 Mar 2024 09:55:16 +0000 https://martechseries.com/?p=355923 Lightricks is bringing instant video-making capabilities to marketers and other professionals with its new, generative AI-powered platform, LTX Studio.

Ever since ChatGPT first dazzled us in late 2022 with its uncanny ability to engage in humanlike conversations on almost any topic, generative AI has become the hottest buzzword in tech. It all began with text generation, but it quickly evolved into text-to-images with the emergence of newer models such as Stability AI’s Stable Diffusion and OpenAI’s DALL-E 2.

Now, generative AI is attacking a new frontier with the development of next-generation text-to-video-based models, and from a marketing perspective, these are perhaps the most interesting of them all.

One of the most ambitious startups to take up the challenge of delivering high quality AI-generated videos is Lightricks, which has just announced the debut of its newest platform, LTX Studio. The company claims that LTX Studio has the ability to take a very basic outline of a video concept, and transform it into a high quality video fit for any TV commercial break.

Anyone can make movies

LTX Studio, which is now available in pre-launch preview, leverages generative AI and combines it with user-friendly editing tools to enable anyone to create professional video footage in a matter of hours or possibly even minutes, depending on how long they intend the video to be.

The product targets marketing professionals among other users, with its ability to quickly generate “cohesive and highly consistent visual stories.” To do this, it supplements its generative AI capabilities with a selection of “directorial tools” that can aid in writing scripts, camera control, character consistency and more.

Lightricks may not be as familiar a name compared to AI industry titans like OpenAI, Google and Meta Platforms, but the company is well qualified to take on the challenge of AI-generated video. The software developer is the creator of comprehensive, mobile-based editing tools such as Photoleap, Videoleap and Facetune, and it has prior experience with generative AI, having added the technology to those apps as early as mid-2022, in a move that predates the launch of ChatGPT.

For marketers, LTX Studio holds a lot of promise. The video production process can be a nightmare at the best of times, with challenges including extended concept development, high production costs, perfecting scripts, finding a skilled director and suitable actors and actresses, and post-production editing. With LTX Studio, marketers can overcome many of these obstacles and eliminate the need to hire any outside specialists, swapping that with an integrated platform that provides AI-powered assistance at every step.

Marketing Technology News: MarTech Interview with Steve Sturges, Chief Marketing Officer at Paycom

Video-making processes reimagined

LTX Studio, which is set to become generally available by the end of March, leverages generative AI to reduce friction throughout the ideation phase, transforming marketing concepts into a basic video treatment based on a simple plain language prompt. It can also assist with brainstorming, creating a storyboard, generating a script, and integrating the visual and sound effects needed.

Users will be able to create the perfect character for their videos, whether it’s a musclebound weight lifter or a drop-dead gorgeous model. LTX Studio’s character consistency tools make it possible to develop entirely unique characters, based on the user’s vision or an inputted image, and utilize them in various scenarios, while the camera control functionalities enable users to manipulate the camera angles and movement to achieve the perfect look and feel.

They’ll also be able to generate the ideal backdrop for their videos, whether it’s on a sun-soaked beach, a baseball field, a mosquito-infested jungle, an alien landscape or anything else they can think of.

In addition, generative AI vastly simplifies the editing process, making it possible to adjust the brightness and contrast on the fly and immediately see how it affects the scene, as well as color correction, overlaying music and more.

Not only does it allow creators to do what was basically impossible unless they had a budget running into thousands of dollars, but it does the entire thing much faster than was previously possible, with its algorithms capable of generating results in seconds. In this way, it means users can see the results of thousands of tiny adjustments in close to real-time, meaning the creative process remains uninterrupted.

The holy grail of generative AI?

Lightricks is hardly the only generative AI video generation game in town. OpenAI recently hit the headlines when it previewed its Sora text-to-video generative AI model that promises many of LTX Studio’s capabilities, although that model is more focused on rendering shorter video sequences than packaging several together in a cohesive manner. It’s also not clear when Sora will become widely available.

Google also offers an alternative in its Imogen video generating tool, but like Sora, Imogen is still in its research phase. On the other hand, there’s no need to wait to play around with Runway.ai’s video-generation platform, which also leverages generative AI, as it launched last year. Similarly, another startup called Pika Labs entered the race with the debut of its Video Command platform, which not only incorporates text-to-video, but also image-to-video – where you can upload an image and transform it into a video sequence – and video-to-video models.

Although marketers have other choices, none of those platforms look quite as compelling as the new Lightricks product. Creating a text-to-video model is one thing, but the holy grail lies in harnessing those models to generate truly remarkable, high-quality videos that won’t look out of place in a Super Bowl ad break. We can’t say for sure, but the brief example clips offered by Lightricks suggest that the company may be among the first to crack it.

If that’s the case, then LTX Studio may well be destined to become a key element of every marketer’s video production strategy. Those who’re intrigued by the prospect can sign up for its official waitlist here.

After a successful beta version chosen by a growing number of users, Beeyou.tv launches the official release of its revolutionary new platform, designed to enable content creators and organizations to manage the security of their streamed content and monetize it independently, this Sunday, February 4th.

Beeyou.tv provides users with an all-in-one virtual hub, where they can create and share content, host private meetings, public gatherings and VODs, and enjoy a seamless collaboration experience; all this, blending the sophistication of a professional studio with a user-friendly interface. In response to data breaches and to the murky handling of user content by some major streaming platforms, Beeyou.tv has developed uniquely stringent security ideal, for example, for schools who want to share online learning, shows and debates or other content where minors are featured. Enhanced security is also ideal for healthcare organizations handling sensitive information, and the legal and financial sector to name a few. Any organization needing to share and discuss sensitive information and images can now do so with peace of mind.

Beeyou.tv also takes a uniquely ethical stance towards monetization by artists and content creators enabling them to set their own prices for exclusive content. The value of their podcast or track is thus no longer set by the platform but each user can decide independently at which price to make content available and for how long.  Beeyou.tv offers a multitude of monetization avenues that range from enabling users to charge viewers for watching live broadcasts or video-on-demand content to receiving donations from followers, viewers or participants and offering pre-ticket sales, which allow event organizers to sell tickets in advance, generating hype, enabling forecasting and maximizing sales.  Furthermore, users and organizations also have the opportunity to insert advertisements within their content, although this choice is entirely up to them: Beeyou.tv will never impose any ads.

Francois-Louis Mertens, CEO and founder of Beeyou.tv, explains: “There was a clear gap in the market that needed to be addressed: content creators and organizations were often being treated unfairly and didn’t have the opportunity to monetize their content independently. When we created Beeyou.tv, we initially set out to correct this, designing a platform that gives our users the ability to extract the value they deserve from their work; however, as development progressed, it also became clear that providing top-class editing and monetization opportunities needed to go hand-in-hand with enhanced security. Security and fairness are founding values for Beeyou.tv; we protect your creativity and your communities’ privacy because we understand that content creators and organizations thrive on trust.”

“Typically, we develop video and photo content to support the Enrich in the USA network at events but at the Silicon Valley Funding Summit before CES 2024, I had set my objectives even higher and wanted to leverage LinkedIn- there is still so much potential on this channel for innovators that want to experiment with streaming and other activities. Beeyou.tv approached me with a unique proposal to livestream all the pitches from the Summit both on their platform and on LinkedIn – and to have them available as VOD the very same day – and it was a dream come true! I can’t wait to explore the opportunities the platform offers more in detail in the future,” declares Sebastien Torre, ENRICH Programs and Platforms Senior Consultant.

“When I first discovered Beeyou.tv back in 2022, I immediately saw that it had huge potential as it combines the features we content creators love from platforms like Zoom, such as private chat rooms, with those of public channels like YouTube. In addition to this, I love the emphasis placed on freedom of speech and real ownership over content.  In an age where data is so important, it is critical for people sharing information and developing content to be able to maintain ownership and control over what they create. If I were to describe Beeyou.tv in three words this would be my focus: freedom, privacy and control,” confirms Sean Stone, actor, show host and content creator.

Beatgrid’s Single Source Panel: Precision in Measuring CTV, YouTube, and TV Amidst Walled Garden Challenges https://martechseries.com/tv-advertising/beatgrids-single-source-panel-precision-in-measuring-ctv-youtube-and-tv-amidst-walled-garden-challenges/ Thu, 01 Feb 2024 07:38:10 +0000 https://martechseries.com/?p=353688

With US buyers and planners shifting budgets from Linear TV to thriving CTV, the challenge of deduplicating CTV (including YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime…) and TV metrics becomes apparent. With YouTube dominating CTV ad spending, traditional TV and AV measurement methods grapple with walled-garden complexities, hindering accurate cross-platform data comparisons within the same campaigns.

Beatgrid provides precise deduplicated reach and frequency measurement, along with brand lift, on a person level, using a deterministic approach to cross-media and ad effectiveness measurement. Allowing media buyers and planners to optimize media investments, understand cross-media metrics, CTV incrementality, and the impact of campaigns. With its unique single-source methodology it empowers marketers to confidently evaluate their campaign impact, aligning with consumer behavior.

Campaign data from over 500 studies revealed insights into the changing viewership patterns of consumers as they move seamlessly between Linear, Digital, CTV, and Online video chasing the best content. The findings proved the key role of YouTube in engaging Gen Zs, the continued significance of Linear TV with older audiences, and the rising importance of CTV (BVOD+AVOD), poised as the new-age Linear TV.

Impressively, campaigns that seamlessly blended TV and CTV, along with the strategic addition of YouTube, achieved an outstanding 65% incremental reach in the online video platform. This not only effectively captivated younger audiences but also led to a tangible increase in brand lift. This approach also provided a thorough understanding of incremental reach across various demographic segments.

HIA Technologies, Inc. Revolutionizes Video Engagement with Qvio, a Groundbreaking Interactive Video Platform https://martechseries.com/video/video-platforms/hia-technologies-inc-revolutionizes-video-engagement-with-qvio-a-groundbreaking-interactive-video-platform/ Tue, 30 Jan 2024 13:57:14 +0000 https://martechseries.com/?p=353438 HIA Technologies, Inc., a leader in innovative technology solutions, announces the launch of Qvio, the world’s first interactive video platform that empowers viewers to interrupt videos with questions and receive instant answers directly from the video’s creator. Because the platform allows creators to use their existing content, creators can capitalize on their prior investments while adding new engagement opportunities. The patented platform transforms the traditional video-watching experience and holds immense potential for reshaping the realms of education, learning, and brand marketing.

“HIA Technologies seeks to turn a new chapter in education with the introduction of Qvio™ two-way interactive video.”

In education, learning, and development, Qvio becomes a game-changer by enabling educators to deliver content more dynamically and engagingly. Learners can now interact with the media publisher in real-time and receive answers to questions exactly as the publisher intended. This dynamic approach to learning enhances comprehension and caters to diverse learning styles and environments, promoting equity in education. Compared to question and answer models available today which provide replies at a later time or outside of the session (via the public comments section), Qvio’s conversational approach keeps the viewer engaged in the moment and avoids disruption.

Qvio answers come directly from the content creator via Creator-Controlled AI™, which relies on the creator to approve the answers before publishing the video. This guardrail ensures the answers cannot go rogue, eliminating the risk of “AI hallucinations” and AI plagiarism. These validated answers are delivered instantly, accompanied by additional multimedia that reinforces the response, brand, or other calls to action.

“For too long, video content has been a one-way street, a passive viewing experience with no ability for viewers to dive deeper into the topics presented or have their questions answered. Qvio transforms videos into two-way conversations between viewers and content creators, allowing viewers to actively engage with the material for a more personalized experience and better comprehension of the topics presented,” says Vacit Arat, CEO of HIA Technologies, Inc.

Beyond education, Qvio’s impact extends into the brand marketing space, providing marketers with a unique tool to connect with their audience. By incorporating interactive elements into their video campaigns, brands can create a more memorable and personalized experience. Viewers can ask questions about products or services directly within the video, leading to a more informed and engaged consumer base. Marketers can conserve budgets by upcycling existing media while expanding their customer touchpoints.

Qvio introduces the concept of “insight” filters, allowing users to query videos based on specific keywords, themes, or topics of interest. This feature enhances the overall user experience, enabling viewers to jump to relevant portions of the content that align with their specific needs or preferences, saving time and ensuring that users can extract the most value from the content.

Content creators also benefit from Qvio’s robust analytics, gaining valuable insights into what their audience wants to know. This data-driven approach enables creators to tailor their content to meet their viewers’ needs and interests, ultimately driving audience engagement, awareness, and retention.

HIA Technologies, Inc. invites educators, content creators, and marketers to explore the limitless possibilities of Qvio and join the movement toward a more interactive and engaging digital landscape.

EX.CO Debuts Vertical Video Player for Publishers’ Websites, Bridging the Gap Between Social Media Platforms and the Open Web https://martechseries.com/video/video-platforms/ex-co-debuts-vertical-video-player-for-publishers-websites-bridging-the-gap-between-social-media-platforms-and-the-open-web/ Wed, 03 Jan 2024 13:13:30 +0000 https://martechseries.com/?p=351477 New video player includes an intuitive, gesture-driven UX inspired by popular social media platforms

EX.CO – the world’s leading publisher video technology platform empowering publishers to own their video content and monetization strategies, today launched its new vertical video player that is fully optimized for immersive mobile web viewing experiences, and also includes a version optimized for desktop consumption. Specifically engineered to play vertical video content with a 10:16 aspect ratio, EX.CO’s player has a first-of-its-kind, interactive, and intuitive UX inspired by the video experience on social platforms.

“Audiences today are consuming massive amounts of video content on social platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Twitch where they are accustomed to seeing vertical video everywhere,” said Tom Pachys, co-founder and CEO at EX.CO. “Publishers now have the tools to form a true end-to-end video strategy–both horizontal and vertical–to interact with their audiences in the most engaging format using the most appropriate tools.”

EX.CO’s new vertical video player for web environments is modeled after the video experience on various social platforms that audiences know and love. The player–which is now available to  all publishers globally–is comparable to EX.CO’s horizontal player from a monetization perspective and shows 17% more engagement than traditional horizontal players, on average. It allows users to consume a seamless feed of vertical video content without the need to rotate their phones for a better view. The player also includes familiar swiping gesture controls for maximum engagement so users can easily navigate between videos, bringing the user experience made popular by social apps.

With 78% of all web traffic across EX.CO’s platform coming from mobile and the fact that nearly all mobile users hold their phones vertically, digital publishers have been eager to identify a vertical video solution that they can introduce on their owned and operated properties. EX.CO’s new player will also allow advertisers to reach new audiences with the same high-quality video ads they are producing for social platforms.

“Thanks to mobile-first audiences and social media, vertical video for the open web has arrived–-and publishers are in a perfect position to capitalize on it,” said Oren Regev, chief product officer at EX.CO. “Our new solution will allow publishers to create vertical video for the web and social simultaneously and then simply syndicate the content, thereby saving both time and money. This change has the potential to increase returns on both shoppable video and e-commerce ads.”
